A list of some of the major commissions completed in partnership with Dai Vaughan since moving to Glasgow

1985-86 GLASGOW GARDEN FESTIVAL. Design concept work on focal point sculptural elements. Alice in Wonderland/ Gulliver’s Travels themes, resulting in out-size landmark features like the giant flowers, tap and teapot.

1987-88 PRINCES SQUARE. Artwork included the anamorphic escalator wall murals, the trompe l’oeil panoramic views of Glasgow in the Food court, the Calibration of the Foucault Pendulum clock, and illusionistic shop fronts.

1988 ASAHI HOTEL, OSAKA, JAPAN Two illusionistic murals for the Banqueting Room.

1988 NEW LANARK VISITOR CENTRE painting of sets and scenery for the Annie Macleod Experience.

1988 onwards, the decoration of a number of city centre bars and restaurants.

1989 CRIEFF HYDRO Decorative murals in the Swimming pool complex.

1989 WEYMOUTH MUSEUM Panoramic mural.

1989 GEORGE SQUARE The 1990 City of Culture Christmas Lights. Overall concept, and design of all illuminated sculptural features, the Angels, Bells, Holly, Stars of David, the Stag and the Hypocanthus. Also Christmas Lighting concept designs for all the main city centre streets of Glasgow.

1989-91 THE HOUSE FOR AN ART LOVER. Research and design detailing of the 1901 designs by Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Margaret Macdonald. Start on series of Gesso Panels for the Dining Room.

1990 PRINCES SQUARE Design team work with Hugh Martin Partnership on the peacock roof sculpture, banners and exterior lighting. The design, construction and installation in the atrium of a 60 ft Christmas Tree Mobile with images of the 12 days of Christmas.

1990 GWEEK SEAL SANCTUARY. Design and construction of sets and kinetic features.

1991 VISITOR CENTRE, GATEHOUSE OF FLEET. Construction and painting of all sets and scenery, for Dumfries and Galloway Council.

1991 CARDIFF CITY CENTRE , Christmas Lights for the whole city centre for Cardiff Marketing. Designed and supervised the manufacture and installation of all lights and features.

1992 GRE PROPERTIES, designed and dyed a set of five entrance panels for offices at 163 West George Street, Glasgow.

Commissions (cont.)

1992-4 MONUMENT MALL, NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE. Painting of dome soffit and atrium frieze with gold leaf murals depicting symbols of the River Tyne and the sea. Design, manufacture and installation of a Christmas ` sculptural installation over 60 metres in length for the interior atrium space, and festive lighting for the exterior and main entrances.

1994 LOCH WINNOCK VISITOR CENTRE. Set of large panoramic mural panels for Strathclyde Regional Council.

1994 CHRISTMAS LIGHTING CATALOGUE with a set of 12 illuminated features, which were ordered by a large number of UK town and city councils.

1994 THE BIG BREAKFAST for Channel 4. Christmas lighting display for the whole frontage of the building for the festive period.

1994 CASINO AUSTRIA , KLESSHEIM PALACE, SALZBURG, AUSTRIA. Angel sculpture in light. Now in Vienna.

1995-6 THE HOUSE FOR AN ART LOVER. Completion of the 24 gesso panels.

1995-7 ALMONDVALE BOULEVARD. LIVINGSTON. Town Centre Christmas lights for Livingston Development Corporation and West Lothian Council.

1996 PRINCES SQUARE. Design team work on entrances, and re-alignment of all interior theatre lighting.

1997 ROBBIE DHU CENTRE, GLENFIDDICH DISTILLERY. Design and paint a set of five trompe l’oeil mural panels. Showing the stages of making malt whisky, for William Grant & Sons.

1997 ST JOHNS CHURCH, CUPAR, FIFE. Celtic Cross. Design, construction, painting and installation of sculptural cross.

1997 BUCHANAN STREET COMPETITION. Design team work with Hardy Holzman Pfeiffer Associates, New York. Short listed entry. Came second equal with RMJM.

1998 NORTH ROTUNDA. Design and painting of Dome for Casino Club.

Since 1998 Private commissions for gesso panels, both in the UK and in the States. Murals in private houses. Increasingly Jenny concentrates on her own painting.

2005 One of our current ongoing projects together is writing and illustrating a book of poems of our travels in India.
